In October, our stylink team went to the city of cities: London! For five days, not only were we able to gather valuable insights at various trade fairs and events, but also to get to know more than 40 stylink community members with different levels of reach and their individual styles of content. We had a wonderful week with great events and highlights in stunning locations around London. So, let\u2019s look back on this time together! Incredible <\/span>views<\/span> at <\/span>the<\/span> Sky Garden<\/span>:<\/span><\/h2>\n

It<\/span> went<\/span> straight<\/span> to<\/span> the<\/span> top: <\/span>around<\/span> 15 <\/span>content<\/span> creators<\/span> spent<\/span> the<\/span> first<\/span> evening<\/span> with<\/span> us<\/span> in <\/span>London’s<\/span> highest<\/span> (and <\/span>prettiest<\/span>!) <\/span>garden<\/span>: <\/span>the<\/span> Sky Garden<\/a>!<\/span> A <\/span>small<\/span> fun<\/span> fact<\/span> on <\/span>the<\/span> side<\/span>… D<\/span>id<\/span> you<\/span> know<\/span> that<\/span> the<\/span> building<\/span> is<\/span> also <\/span>called<\/span> a <\/span>walkie-talkie<\/span> because<\/span> of<\/span> its<\/span> shape<\/span>?<\/span> The <\/span>evening<\/span> was <\/span>spent<\/span> relaxing<\/span> with<\/span> drinks<\/span> and <\/span>delicious<\/span> snacks<\/span> to<\/span> get<\/span> to<\/span> know<\/span> each<\/span> other<\/span>. <\/span>Our<\/span> stylink<\/span> bingo<\/span> as<\/span> a <\/span>small<\/span> activity<\/span> of<\/span> the<\/span> evening<\/span> was <\/span>definitely<\/span> a highlight.<\/span> Our<\/span> influencers<\/span> were<\/span> able<\/span> to<\/span> win<\/span> a 75 EUR H&M <\/span>voucher<\/span>. And <\/span>we<\/span> made<\/span> sure<\/span> that<\/span> our<\/span> guests<\/span> exchanged<\/span> ideas<\/span> with<\/span> each<\/span> other<\/span>. The <\/span>photos<\/span> speak<\/span> for<\/span> themselves<\/span>, so <\/span>we<\/span> would<\/span> say<\/span>…<\/span> <\/span>mission<\/span> accomplished<\/span><\/span>!\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Crazy Pizza Times, Events <\/span>an<\/span>d Panel Talk<\/span>s:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Tuesday also <\/span>got<\/span> off <\/span>to<\/span> an <\/span>exciting<\/span> start<\/span>. The PI Live<\/a> trade fair, <\/span>the<\/span> Affiliate<\/span> & Performance Marketing Conference, also ran on Tuesday and Wednesday.<\/span> The <\/span>main<\/span> focus<\/span> was on <\/span>affiliate<\/span> marketing<\/span> in <\/span>the<\/span> B2B <\/span>sector<\/span>. <\/span>S<\/span>tylink<\/span> had<\/span> the<\/span> opportunity<\/span> to<\/span> connect <\/span>with<\/span> partner<\/span> shops<\/span> and <\/span>make<\/span> new<\/span> contacts<\/span>. <\/span>S<\/span>tylink<\/span> COO Michael Elschenbroich<\/a> was <\/span>able<\/span> to<\/span> pass on <\/span>important<\/span> learnings<\/span> from<\/span> our<\/span> daily<\/span> office<\/span> to-do’s<\/span> as<\/span> a <\/span>speaker<\/span> at a <\/span>panel<\/span> talk<\/span> on <\/span>the<\/span> subject<\/span> of<\/span> \u201c<\/span>Affiliate<\/span> Marketing: The <\/span>Resilient<\/span> Revenue Driver.<\/span>\u201d<\/span> But <\/span>of<\/span> course<\/span> we<\/span> didn’t<\/span> let<\/span> our<\/span> UK <\/span>users<\/span> down on <\/span>this<\/span> day<\/span> either<\/span>! At <\/span>the<\/span> dinner<\/span> with<\/span> almost<\/span> 20 <\/span>content<\/span> creators<\/span> at\u00a0<\/span>Crazy Pizza <\/span><\/a>in Marylebone, <\/span>stylink<\/span> bingo<\/span> was <\/span>again<\/span> played<\/span> diligently<\/span>.<\/span> Afterwards<\/span>, <\/span>our<\/span> team<\/span> went<\/span> to<\/span> the<\/span> PI Live <\/span>after<\/span>-show <\/span>party<\/span> at The <\/span>Proud<\/span> Embankment<\/span>, <\/span>right<\/span> on <\/span>the<\/span> Thames. Trapeze <\/span>artists<\/span> and <\/span>good<\/span> drinks<\/span> included<\/span>!<\/span><\/p>\n

Boohoo<\/span> is<\/span> calling<\/span>:<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

The <\/span>third<\/span> day<\/span> in London was also <\/span>packed<\/span> with<\/span> adventures<\/span>. Eight <\/span>selected<\/span> users<\/span> joined<\/span> us<\/span> for<\/span> a <\/span>co-branded<\/span> event<\/span> with<\/span> boohoo<\/span>.<\/span> After a <\/span>delicious<\/span> brunch at <\/span>Feya<\/span><\/a> Caf\u00e9 (<\/span>with<\/span> dessert<\/span> for<\/span> breakfast), <\/span>we<\/span> went<\/span> to<\/span> the<\/span> showroom<\/span> of<\/span> our<\/span> partner<\/span> shop<\/span> boohoo<\/span><\/strong>. <\/span>There<\/span>, <\/span>our<\/span> users<\/span> could<\/span> take<\/span> their<\/span> time <\/span>to<\/span> get<\/span> to<\/span> know<\/span> boohoo<\/span> and <\/span>stylink<\/span> even<\/span> better<\/span> until<\/span> 4pm.<\/span> We<\/span> love<\/span> sharing<\/span> with<\/span> each<\/span> other<\/span>, and <\/span>of<\/span> course<\/span>, it<\/span> was a <\/span>pleasure<\/span> to<\/span> enjoy<\/span> the<\/span> afternoon<\/span> together<\/span> with<\/span> our<\/span> most<\/span> loyal <\/span>users<\/span> and <\/span>boohoo<\/span>. But <\/span>stylink<\/span> wouldn’t<\/span> be<\/span> stylink<\/span> without<\/span> action<\/span>!<\/span> Of<\/span> course<\/span>, <\/span>we<\/span> challenged<\/span> our<\/span> creators<\/span> with<\/span> a <\/span>little<\/span> fashion<\/span> challenge<\/span>.<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span> In <\/span>keeping<\/span> with<\/span> the<\/span> season<\/span>, <\/span>the<\/span> focus<\/span> was on <\/span>transitional<\/span> looks<\/span>. <\/span>Under<\/span> the<\/span> motto<\/span> style <\/span>the<\/span> perfect<\/span> brunch <\/span>to<\/span> night<\/span> outfit<\/span>, <\/span>the<\/span> creators<\/span> had<\/span> to<\/span> style <\/span>two<\/span> complete<\/span> outfits<\/span> with<\/span> boohoo<\/span> before<\/span> the<\/span> event<\/span>.<\/span> Affiliate <\/span>links <\/span>were<\/span> made<\/span> live on-site<\/span>, and <\/span>the<\/span> clicks on their links were counted<\/span>. <\/span>Our<\/span> lucky <\/span>winner<\/span> @jaz_harrington <\/span><\/a>took<\/span> home<\/span> a \u00a3300 <\/span>voucher<\/span>. <\/span>If<\/span> you<\/span> love<\/span> boohoo<\/span> styles<\/span> as<\/span> much<\/span> as<\/span> we<\/span> do, <\/span>share<\/span> your<\/span> outfit<\/span> inspiration<\/span> with<\/span> stylink<\/span> now<\/span>!<\/span> Thursday<\/span> was an <\/span>intense<\/span> day<\/span> full<\/span> of<\/span> insights<\/span>: <\/span>Our<\/span> team<\/span> was on <\/span>the<\/span> road<\/span> at <\/span>the<\/span> second<\/span> trade fair Influencer Marketing Show.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s<\/span> go<\/span> \u2013 IMS <\/span>2022<\/span>:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Thursday<\/span> was an <\/span>intense<\/span> day<\/span> full<\/span> of<\/span> insights<\/span>: <\/span>Our<\/span> team<\/span> was <\/span>at <\/span>the<\/span> second<\/span> trade fair Influencer Marketing Show<\/a>.<\/span> It<\/span> is<\/span> one<\/span> of<\/span> the<\/span> most<\/span> important<\/span> trade <\/span>fairs<\/span> for<\/span> the<\/span> creator<\/span> and <\/span>marketing<\/span> community<\/span>. <\/span>Everything<\/span> there<\/span> revolves<\/span> around<\/span> the<\/span> topics<\/span> of<\/span> content<\/span>, <\/span>agencies<\/span> and <\/span>brands<\/span>.<\/span> O<\/span>ur<\/span> UK Brand Ambassador Jodi @nahlaandus<\/a> was also on <\/span>the<\/span> road<\/span> with<\/span> us<\/span> all <\/span>day<\/span>. <\/span>This was a<\/span> great<\/span> opportunity<\/span> to<\/span> finally<\/span> get<\/span> to<\/span> know<\/span> each<\/span> other<\/span> in <\/span>person<\/span>\u00a0<\/span> although<\/span> we<\/span> had <\/span>been<\/span> working<\/span> very<\/span> happily<\/span> with<\/span> her <\/span>for<\/span> a <\/span>whole<\/span> year<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span> Jody was a <\/span>great<\/span> companion<\/span> because<\/span> she<\/span> was <\/span>able<\/span> to<\/span> share<\/span> many<\/span> insights<\/span> with<\/span> the<\/span> brands<\/span> from<\/span> her <\/span>perspective<\/span> as<\/span> a <\/span>content<\/span> creato<\/span>r<\/span>. A<\/span>fter<\/span> the<\/span> successful<\/span> day<\/span> at <\/span>the<\/span> fair, <\/span>we<\/span> went<\/span> to<\/span> the<\/span> Ballie<\/span> Ballerson<\/span><\/a> for<\/span> the<\/span> IMS After Show Party. <\/span>F<\/span>or<\/span> a <\/span>short<\/span> time, <\/span>our<\/span> childhood<\/span> dreams<\/span> came<\/span> true<\/span>… a <\/span>c<\/span>ocktail<\/span> bar and ball <\/span>p<\/span>i<\/span>t<\/span>,<\/span> all<\/span>–<\/span>i<\/span>n<\/span>–<\/span>one<\/span>; <\/span>it<\/span> doesn’t<\/span> get<\/span> any<\/span> better<\/span> than<\/span> that<\/span>! <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Why<\/span> are<\/span> micro-influencers<\/span> so <\/span>interesting<\/span> for<\/span> events<\/span>?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Our<\/span> team<\/span> colleague<\/span> Jack<\/a> <\/span>gave<\/span> a <\/span>talk<\/span> at IMS <\/span>as<\/span> Influencer Relations Manager <\/span>about<\/span> micro-influencers<\/span> and <\/span>their<\/span> importance<\/span> for<\/span> companies<\/span>! <\/span>Our<\/span> stylink<\/span> community<\/span> consists<\/span> mainly<\/span> of<\/span> micro-influencers<\/span> with<\/span> up<\/span> to<\/span> 30,000 <\/span>followers<\/span>.<\/span> Therefore<\/span>, <\/span>it<\/span> is<\/span> important<\/span> for<\/span> us<\/span> to<\/span> inform<\/span> you about<\/span> this<\/span> topic<\/span>. <\/span>stylink<\/span> is<\/span> not <\/span>only<\/span> meant<\/span> for<\/span> influencers<\/span> with<\/span> a <\/span>huge<\/span> reach<\/span>. <\/span>That’s<\/span> why<\/span> we<\/span> also <\/span>wanted<\/span> to<\/span> have<\/span> smaller<\/span> content<\/span> creators<\/span> in London at <\/span>our<\/span> events<\/span>. <\/span>You’re<\/span> asking<\/span> yourself<\/span> why<\/span>? <\/span>Quite<\/span> simply<\/span>, <\/span>while<\/span> big<\/span> influencers<\/span> may<\/span> have<\/span> a wider <\/span>reach<\/span>, so-<\/span>called<\/span> “<\/span>micro-influencers<\/span>” <\/span>maintain<\/span> a <\/span>higher<\/span> level<\/span> of<\/span> engagement<\/span> with<\/span> their<\/span> community<\/span>.<\/span> That<\/span> is<\/span> why<\/span> their<\/span> content<\/span> is<\/span> sometimes<\/span> even<\/span> more<\/span> trustworthy<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

A <\/span>perfect<\/span> end <\/span>with<\/span> t<\/span>he<\/span> events<\/span> at The Shard<\/span>:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Okay, <\/span>we<\/span> say<\/span> it<\/span> really<\/span> often<\/span>, but <\/span>this<\/span> time <\/span>we<\/span> mean<\/span> it. <\/span>There<\/span> was an absolute highlight at <\/span>the<\/span> end<\/span> of<\/span> the<\/span> week<\/span>. <\/span>We<\/span> went<\/span> to<\/span> one<\/span> of<\/span> the<\/span> best<\/span> locations<\/span> London <\/span>has<\/span> to<\/span> offer<\/span>:<\/span> the<\/span> 33rd <\/span>floor<\/span> of<\/span> The Shard<\/a> and <\/span>the<\/span> Asian <\/span>restaurant<\/span> Hutong<\/a> in <\/span>the<\/span> UK’s<\/span> tallest<\/span> building<\/span>.<\/span> What<\/span> better<\/span> way<\/span> to<\/span> end a <\/span>week<\/span> than<\/span> with<\/span> a <\/span>fabulous<\/span> cocktail<\/span> overlooking<\/span> all <\/span>of<\/span> London’s<\/span> skyscrapers<\/span>?<\/span> We<\/span> met<\/span> more<\/span> than<\/span> 20 <\/span>community<\/span> members<\/span> that<\/span> evening<\/span>. <\/span>To<\/span> top <\/span>it<\/span> off, <\/span>we<\/span> handed<\/span> out <\/span>two<\/span> awards<\/span> on Friday <\/span>evening<\/span>: <\/span>the<\/span> stylink<\/span> Rising<\/span> Instagram Star and also <\/span>the<\/span> stylink<\/span> Rising<\/span> TikTok<\/span> Star, <\/span>which<\/span> Beth <\/span>with<\/span> her Instagram <\/span>channel<\/span> and Cindy <\/span>with<\/span> her <\/span>TikTok<\/span> profile<\/span> @ab61e <\/span><\/a>were<\/span> able<\/span> to<\/span> take<\/span> home<\/span>.<\/span> Beth <\/span>presents<\/span> her <\/span>outfits<\/span> in <\/span>outfit<\/span> grids<\/span> and <\/span>thus<\/span> passes<\/span> on <\/span>recommendations<\/span> without<\/span> presenting<\/span> herself<\/span> first<\/span> and <\/span>foremost<\/span>. <\/span>We<\/span> think<\/span> this<\/span> is<\/span> super innovative! A<\/span>t <\/span>stylink,<\/span> you<\/span> can<\/span> be<\/span> successful<\/span> with<\/span> creative<\/span>, <\/span>unusual<\/span> content<\/span>. <\/span>There<\/span> are<\/span> no<\/span> limits<\/span> to<\/span> your<\/span> creativity<\/span>. Cindy <\/span>started<\/span> her <\/span>channel<\/span> during<\/span> the<\/span> COVID <\/span>pandemic<\/span> and <\/span>has<\/span> only<\/span> been<\/span> registered <\/span>with<\/span> stylink<\/span> for<\/span> six<\/span> months<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wrap-up<\/span> of<\/span> the<\/span> events<\/span>:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Our<\/span> days<\/span> in London <\/span>were<\/span> a <\/span>very<\/span> special<\/span> time <\/span>for<\/span> us<\/span>. <\/span>Of<\/span> course<\/span>, <\/span>this<\/span> is<\/span> also due <\/span>to<\/span> our<\/span> wonderful<\/span> creators<\/span> who<\/span> filled<\/span> every<\/span> day<\/span> with<\/span> so <\/span>much<\/span> life<\/span>. <\/span>We<\/span> are<\/span> so happy <\/span>that<\/span> you<\/span> were<\/span> there<\/span>! <\/span>We<\/span> found<\/span> it<\/span> incredibly<\/span> cool <\/span>that<\/span> so <\/span>many<\/span> Creators<\/span> didn’t<\/span> know<\/span> each<\/span> other<\/span> personally<\/span> before<\/span> our<\/span> week<\/span> in London and <\/span>the<\/span> events<\/span>.<\/span> Now<\/span> that<\/span> we<\/span> had<\/span> the<\/span> chance<\/span> to<\/span> bring <\/span>our<\/span> small<\/span> stylink<\/span> community<\/span> closer<\/span> together<\/span>,<\/span> w<\/span>e<\/span> are<\/span> absolutely<\/span> sure<\/span> that<\/span> this<\/span> was not<\/span> the<\/span> last.<\/span> More <\/span>events<\/span> are<\/span> already<\/span> being<\/span> planned<\/span>.
